FRP Installation
Fiberglass reinforced plastic panels (FRP Panels) are made of thin flexible sheets of plastic resin with fiberglass strands which enhances the strength of your walls. FRP panels are resistant to corrosion, moisture, mold, mildew, making them extremely easy to clean and maintain.
FRP Panels can be installed over almost any surface/substrate from masonry block walls to metal panels found in walk-in coolers. However, different wall substrates/assemblies require different preparation and/or adhesives in order to achieve a proper and lasting bond. For installations over drywall substrates, we can generally install our FRP panels prior to any taping and sanding occurring. FRP Panels can be installed over existing drywall to renew surfaces, cover damages, provide added strength and gain added cleaning benefits. In all instances, it is important walls are flat and smooth prior to our installation in order to attain a high-quality final product and look.
